Introduction

Turnly ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Nickname: When you create an account
• Avatar: Profile picture (optional)
• Friends List: Users you connect with in the App

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
• Usage Data: Games played, scores, session duration, app interactions
• Technical Data: IP address, app version, crash logs

1.3 Information from Third Parties

• Firebase Authentication: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and name (with your permission)
• AdMob: Advertising ID for ad serving (see section 5)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for:

• Providing the Service: Enable gameplay, matchmaking, score comparison
• Improving the App: Analytics, bug fixes, performance optimization
• Communication: Push notifications about your turn, daily challenges
• Advertising: Serve relevant ads through AdMob
• Legal Compliance: Prevent fraud, enforce Terms of Service

What we do NOT do:

• Sell your personal information
• Share your data with third parties for their marketing
• Track you across other apps or websites

4. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active
• Gameplay Data: Retained for 2 years after last activity
• Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymised after 90 days
• Deleted Accounts: Permanently deleted within 30 days of request

5. Advertising & Analytics

5.1 AdMob

We use Google AdMob to serve ads. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID (AAID on Android, IDFA on iOS), device information, and ad interactions. For EU/EEA users, we request your consent before personalising ads.

You can opt out:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising > Personalised Ads (off)

5.2 Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage. Data is aggregated and anonymised. It is not sold or used for purposes other than improving the App.

Delete Your Account

You can delete your Turnly account and all associated data at any time:

1. Open the Turnly app
2. Go to Profile → Settings
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm deletion

What gets deleted: Your account, display name, game history, scores, and friend connections are permanently deleted within 30 days.

What is retained: Anonymised aggregate analytics data (not linked to your identity) may be retained for up to 90 days.

If you cannot access the app, email privacy@iq5.io with the subject "Delete My Account" and we will process your request within 30 days.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Portability: Export your data in a structured format
• Objection: Object to data processing for marketing
• Restriction: Limit how we use your data

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures: data in transit is protected by HTTPS, data at rest is encrypted by Firebase, and Firestore security rules isolate user data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Turnly is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@iq5.io and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be stored in the United States (where Firebase servers are located). We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses for EU transfers, ensuring equivalent protections.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app message. The updated policy is effective immediately upon posting.
